About us
Christiane et Louis Bernard
We live in Aurel, a small artists village which is considered as one of the most beautiful villages of the County of Vaucluse. We live in the middle of nowhere, a privileged environment for hiking, horse riding and mountain biking.
The horizon seems to be endless.
Climbing the Mount Ventoux by foot , by horse or by mountain bike.
Sanctuary of wild flora and flora, paradise of cervidae.

We are located about 900 m from Aurel. A preserved village with a church dating from the 13th century and ruins of a castle. Our property is at 755m altitude. The air is sharp and clean, the heat is never unsupportable.
The climate is that excellent that only 5 km from us at Montbrun les Bains you will find a thermal station treating ENT and rheumatology.
The clearness of the sky has allowed the installation of an observatory at St Michel L’Observatoire. Guided tours need to pre-reserved.
Hiking paths only 100m from our property and anywhere else in the region. As well paths for horse riding and mountain biking.

Brantes with her baroque church , the great view at the north façade of the Mount Ventoux, and her artists are awaiting you.

Vaison la Romain and its festival, its Roman ruins.

Our house, a former sheepfold, surrounded by woods and lavender fields, offers you two completely independent guestrooms with shower, bathroom and private WCs. A swimming pool is at your disposition.
We also welcome horsemen and their horses.
The tariff for the guestroom with bath and WC, twin beds is 70€ per day , including breakfast for one or two persons.
The tariff for the guestroom with a shower and WC, double bed ( 160cm large) is 55€ per day, breakfast for one or two persons included.
Tourist tax: 0.50€ per day
Board and lodging of horses: 15€ per day
